Chrysler future product plans leaked
Things have been awfully quiet at Chrysler lately in terms of getting new products to the public. Besides showing a lone Fiat 500 at the recent Canadian International Auto Show, the automaker has talked a lot about its upcoming products, but we've gotten very little in the way of specifics.
Now it appears that Allpar.com has uncovered some information about the coming year's worth of new and revised products, and there are definitely some surprises.
In terms of new vehicles, the heavy-duty Ram chassis cabs will start on sale in April, followed by the new Jeep Grand Cherokee and its 280-hp 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 a month later. The rumoured Dodge Magnum crossover, the replacements for the mid-sized Dodge Avenger and Chrysler Sebring, and the latest generation of Brampton, ON-built rear-wheel-drive Charger, Challenger and 300 LX cars rolls in November.
The Fiat 500 will make it to North America, but only by mid-December, so those wanting a new small Chrysler will have to wait for a while.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep line-up will see heavy revisions and changes to make them more competitive with the rest of the world. It will be at least a year before any of Fiat’s excellent Multi-Air engine technology flows into the North American product portfolio, but it will eventually make it to the Pentastar V6 and versions of the current four-cylinder World Engine.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee pictured above is a very nice-looking vehicle! If the other upcoming products from Chrysler look as good as that, they should be quite successful!

I have always had a chrysler, at any given time and I am so happy with your product, I have been driving for over 35 years and in that time I have owned more then 5 of your mades , at this time right now I still have a 1985 chrysler fifth avenue , and it is mint , and only 100 k , still the the orginal floor mats , yes it is a bigger car and a bigger motor , however if you put the comfort and the gas mileage and think the way I do , I would rather drive in comfort and get 25 miles to a gallon , then get 45 miles to a gallon and not be comfortable , I work away all the time and comfort is so important to me , just keep up the good work , thanks loyal forever

Chrysler has always built some amazing vehicles (Superbird/Challenger/Charger/Viper/300) But Chrysler's curse has always been it's attention to detail (quality). And as we have seen with Toyota recently, even if you buy off the government inspectors the customer will still always notice quality.

Chrysler Achilles heel over the last 15 years has been they have a 2.2 engine a 2.4 engine some good most junk. They need stability in their drivetrains and stick with a design don't change it every model year. Look at GM V6 V8 been around a long time they are bullet proof. They don't break down.
That is what Chrysler has to correct so we get confidence back in their drivetrains.

In reply to Steve.
Yes those where the time when Chrysler could build car like the Charger but now they need help as in creating the 300 from a Mercedes and the Viper from an Italian designer. Now you tell me they are going to build cars with Fiat? I dont think my Jeep will be the same and the sad news is that NO diesel engine will stay here. Why all for export? It is sad when their best truck engine is created by another compagny (Cummins).
GM has used the 305-350 for years and still going strong. I really dont know why the government bailed them out.

Multi-air engine technology is a good concept and this car is an innovative one as far as the style is taken into concern.
