Ford conforms new Focus Wagon for Geneva Motor Show
When Ford redesigned its Focus in 2008 in an effort to better tackle the dominant Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla, the only carry-over style was the four-door sedan. The company ditched the three- and five-door hatchbacks and station wagon, but added a two-door coupe to the mix instead. That sort of thinking might make sense in the United States, where hatchbacks and wagons are treated like the plague, but Canada was left out in the cold as sedans and coupes don’t sell in the same numbers as hatchbacks and wagons... Ex-Ford of Canada president Bill Osborne publicly criticized his bosses in Detroit for a lack of foresight – and was promptly transferred to Australia...
Now Ford looks to be correcting its problems since North America is now set to get the same global Focus as the rest of the world. Canadians can look forward to new utility-focused models like the five-door hatch already shown at the North American International Auto Show and the Canadian International Auto Show, and this new station wagon version that will debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show in March.
“We see this as an integral part of our global next-generation Focus line-up, and we're eager to hear the reaction to what we believe is a very stylish and distinctive car,” said John Fleming, Ford of Europe chairman and CEO.
Presumably, the Focus Wagon will use the same mix of regular and turbocharged four-cylinder models as its siblings. Given Ford’s reputation for fun-to-drive cars, it should be an entertaining, useful cargo hauler at a very reasonable price.

I loved my Ford Focus Wagon so much I bought Two ! They were perfect for carrying all the "stuff" my family of five needed and carried day to day and Camping, but it was as a Hockey Bag Carrier that was its forte ! It was a fun to drive car and really did almost all I could ask of it. A little better in the snow would have been nice but ........ Welcome Back !

In some instances a majority of people will have problems with their engines can often be due to lack of maintenance, other times a lack of knowledge, and in extreme cases is not have the money needed to keep your engine in good condition. Since age 13 I am passionate about engines, I think they're great, this blog is really interesting.

Ford should bring the wagon here. I had a Focus wagon, it was great. They may try to sell the C-Max in it's place, but the wagon looks better
